Misha, the baker behind Drama Llama

A little flour, a lot of heart

Meet the baker
behind the drama.

Drama Llama is a local, small-batch bakery built around slow fermentation, playful treats, and the joy of feeding people well.

Hello, I'm Misha.

I grew up in Russia watching my grandmother bake everything from scratch—from simple cookies to elaborate cakes and beautiful loaves of bread.

I wanted to be just like her, but baking did not come naturally to me at first. Some of my early attempts were so unsuccessful that my daughter kept asking me to please stop baking! I didn't stop. I kept practicing, learning, and trying again until all that hard work finally paid off. During the COVID lockdown, I became the baker I had always hoped to be.

Drama Llama grew from that persistence and from my desire to share the warmth of homemade baking with my neighbors. Every loaf and treat is made in small batches with care, curiosity, and a little bit of joyful drama.
